Roman Resch

Roman Resch (born May 27, 1922 in Krems an der Donau ; † June 2, 1976 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). Resch was a member of the Lower Austria regional parliament and from 1964 to 1967 a regional councilor in the Lower Austrian regional government .

After attending primary and secondary school, Resch completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter and attended a mechanical engineering school for two years during the Second World War. Between 1941 and 1945 he did his military service in the Navy and joined NEWAG in 1946 . He was involved in setting up the ÖAAB operational organization in his company and was elected chairman of the central works council in 1955. Resch represented the ÖVP from March 10, 1960 to December 20, 1967 in the Lower Austrian state parliament and was also regional councilor in the Lower Austrian state government from November 19, 1964 to December 20, 1967.
