Roman Weltzien

Roman Weltzien (born April 12, 1978 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German actor .

Life

Roman Weltzien completed his training as an actor at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . During his studies he was able to gain practical experience. He was engaged , among others, at the Carrousel-Theater Berlin, Ulmer Theater and the Neue Bühne Senftenberg . He was also involved in several summer theater productions in Wunsiedel and Mayen. In addition to several roles for film and television, Roman Weltzien works as a speaker for radio play productions.

From 2006 to 2010 Roman Weltzien was engaged at the Meiningen State Theater in South Thuringia . There he played the role of Mephistopheles in the staging of Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe , directed by Ansgar Haag . From 2014 to 2016 he was a member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Detmold . He then played several roles at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau.

He was active in television productions of the Tatort .
