Romano Ledda

Romano Ledda (* 1930 in Tunisia , † March 26, 1987 in Rome ) was an Italian journalist and politician .

Life

Ledda wrote for the newspaper L'Unità and was the author of numerous essays and studies. The KPI official also wrote a number of commentaries for documentaries and was involved in Vietnam, scene dal dopoguerra as a co-director.

Ledda, a staunch Marxist, was active on the political stage as a member of the national secretariat of the youth organization of the KPI before he was elected to the Central Committee. From 1971 to 1978 he was vice director of Rinascità , a political theory journal, and its co-director until April 1986.
