Reinbrecht's great-great-grandfather was the ducal-Anhalt administrator and domain tenant in Agnesdorf and Roßla in the Golden Aue , Johann Friedrich Reinbrecht (1718–1776). His great-grandfather Heinrich Wilhelm Theodor Reinbrecht (1751-1807) was Princely Anhaltinian Bernburg bailiff and administrator in Breitungen (southern Harz) , as well as admodiateur of the Princely Meuselbach estate in Ichstedt and Rittersaß in Borxleben . August Reinbrecht was married to Charlotte Schwartz (born April 5, 1891 in Rudolstadt) since his marriage on September 2, 1911 in Rudolstadt. Charlotte Schwartz came from the Schwartz family of lawyers in Rudolstadt , who worked for generations as lawyers and theologians at the court of the princes of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. She was the daughter of the lawyer and princely Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt secret government councilor Hugo Schwartz, who was awarded the Mecklenburg Commander's Cross of the Order of the Griffin for his services by Grand Duke Friedrich Franz IV of Mecklenburg-Schwerin , and his wife Olga, née. Thiem. She was also a descendant of the Lutheran theologian Samuel Urlspergers .

The marriage produced three sons:

obituary

Excerpt from the obituary of the Frankenhäuser Zeitung, No. 74, of March 28, 1929:

“He is no longer the man who hung with such a warm heart, with such deep love and with such unshakable loyalty to his Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt homeland, the Kyffhäuserland, his district of Sondershausen-Bad Frankenhausen, which has grown dear to his heart, and whose fortunes have been with him are closely connected to the most loyal man in our homeland, as closely as only a good father can be connected to his family. He was a full father to his fellow citizens, a real German man, a tolerant Christian. If ever a word can be applied to a person, it is this:
'Let the person be noble, helpful and good!'
It aptly describes the character of the deserving person who has gone home, whose senses and aspirations were only aimed at serving his circle and helping his people as far as he could. Truly a noble character, a person ennobled by simplicity, kindness, devotion and loyalty to the service of the general public. ...
Noble in his disposition, elegant and simple, not going too close to anyone, not hurting anyone. Balancing effect in the wake of parliamentary disagreements. Helpful against everyone, whatever their status, whatever their political position. If the district administrator could make it possible to help the distressed, his kind heart could always be felt in his gentle hand. Good against everyone, be it in the ramified official business against the tireless and loyal helpers in the office, or against humanity seeking help, who gladly took advantage of his good advice, his rich knowledge and ability. He was always the same, the reconciling, the mild, the helping. "
