Romedenne ( Walloon Rômedene ) is a village in the Belgian municipality of Philippeville in the province of Namur in the Walloon Region .

624 inhabitants live in Romedenne (as of 2011).

The church of St. Pierre of the village was built in the years 1890/1891 in neo-Romanesque style. Like the neighboring village of Surice a little further north, German troops Romedenne burned down during World War I on August 25, 1914. There was at least one execution.

The municipality of Romedenne, which was independent until 1977, was then incorporated into the municipality of Philippeville as part of a municipal reform.
