Romela Nikolaji Dadajan ( Armenian Ռոմելա Նիկոլայի Դադայան ; born October 22, 1951 in Madras in the Şamaxı Rayon of the Azerbaijani SSR) is a politician of the Free Homeland Party in the de facto regime of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic , which belongs to Azerbaijan under international law.

life and career

Dadajan graduated from the Distance Department of the Faculty of Armenian Language and Literature at the Pedagogical University in the city of Stepanakert . From 1968 to 1973 Dadajan worked as the chief pioneer leader in Madras village in Shamachi. From 1973 to 1974 she worked as a teacher for Armenian language and literature in the secondary school in the village of Chajlughi in Martakert . In 1974 she moved to the kindergarten N 4 in Stepanakert and from 1979 she was an educator in a general education boarding school.

Since 1979 she has been working in school N 1 in Stepanakert as an organizer of extra-curricular work. There she became deputy director in 1988. She has been the director of the school since 1994.

On June 19, 2005, she was elected to the fourth National Assembly of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic as a member of the Artsakh National Assembly after proportional representation through the electoral list of the party " Free Homeland ". She was a member of the National Council's standing committee on social issues. On May 23, 2010, she was elected as a member of the “Free Homeland” party election list in the elections for the fifth National Assembly by proportional representation. She is a member of the standing committee for culture and science as well as for youth and sport issues. In her party she holds the office of secretary.

Dadajan is married and has three children.
