Romuald lead
Romuald Blei (born November 13, 1882 in Waal ; † March 19, 1976 ) was a German local politician.
Career
Blei was born in Waal in 1882. He attended high school in Kempten and from 1929 was head of the BayWa branch in Eichstätt. After the end of the Second World War , on May 4, 1945, Blei was appointed mayor of Eichstätt at a citizens' assembly convened by the American military government in the city theater . In 1946 he was confirmed in office in the first local election after the war. He remained in office until May 26, 1948. After Richard Jaeger moved to the Bundestag in 1949, Blei took over the post of Lord Mayor for another two years .
