Romualdas Boreika

Romualdas Boreika (born January 6, 1955 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, police superintendent and FNTT director.

Life

From 1972 to 1978 he completed his diploma studies at the Technical University of Kaunas and in 2001 the master’s degree in financial management at the Technical University of Kaunas. In 2003 he continued his education at Lietuvos viešojo administravimo institutas and at the “International Admissions Center UK” in Greenwich , London . In 2008 he completed his master's degree in law and administration at the Mykolo Romerio universitetas. From 1977 to 1984 he worked as an engineer in the Lithuanian Metrology Laboratory, from 1984 to 1991 as inspector and head of the militia subdivision in Kaunas, from 1991 to 1997 as chief inspector and commissioner inspector at the police in Kaunas. From 1997 to 2002 he was a commissioner in the tax police department. From 2002 he was Deputy Director, Chief Commissioner and then until 2010 Director at FNTT. In 2006 Gediminas promoted Kirkilas Boreika to general in the office.

His wife is Violeta Boreikienė (* 1960), a Lithuanian politician, member of the Seimas .
