Ronald Butt

Ronald Butt , CBE (born February 17, 1920 in London , † December 13, 2002 in London ) was a British journalist and author.

Life

Ronald Butt studied history at Oxford. He was a political editor for the Financial Times from 1951 to 1967 , the Sunday Times from 1967 to 1983, and an editor and regular columnist for the Times from 1968 to 1991 . In 1987 he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire .
