Roquemartine is a ruined castle in the southern French municipality of Eyguières . In addition, Roquemartine was the name of an independent municipality until 1830.
The ruins are called Castellas de Roquemartine or Château de la Reine Jeanne (English: Queen Johanna's castle). The castle, which was built in the 12th and 13th centuries, used to belong to the Albe family . The castle is still privately owned today. Since September 28, 1926, it has been a monument historique .
There is also the Saint-Sauveur church near the castle . It dates from the 14th century. There was probably a church in Roquemartine as early as the 11th century.

In 1790 Roquemartine was elevated to the status of a municipality in the Bouches-du-Rhône department , but it only existed until 1830. At first it had its current name, but in 1801 it was called Roque-Martine . The municipality belonged to the canton of Eyguières . Until 1816 it belonged to the Arrondissement of Tarascon , which then became part of the Arrondissement of Arles .
