Rose Elliot

Rose Elliot is an English author of vegetarian cookbooks.

biography

Her grandmother Grace Cooke was the founder of the esoteric association "White Eagle Lodge". In the group's own restaurant “New Lands” she cooked for the first time in public and also developed her own recipes. Finally she produced her first cookbook for the White Eagle Lodge Charity. Since then she has published around 60 cookbooks. In 2012, Harper Collins published 30-Minute Vegetarian .

In 1999 the Queen awarded her the honorary title of Member of British Empire ( MBE ) for her services to vegetarian cuisine. Rose Elliot's New Complete Vegetarian book won a 2011 Gourmand World Cookbook Award for “Best Vegetarian Cookbook in the World”.

Rose Elliot is a sponsor and member of the Vegetarian Society, Vegetarian's International Voice for Animals (VIVA), Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation and Mensa International ; she lives in Hampshire and London.
