Roseanne Allen (born March 7, 1954 in Aklavik , Northwest Territories , † June 20, 2009 in Sault Sainte Marie , Ontario ) was a Canadian cross-country skier . She was one of the first Olympic athletes in Canada, who belonged to one of the country's First Nations Indian tribes.

Allen started cross-country skiing when he was ten. At the age of 13 she won the gold medal over 5 km in Port Arthur at the national Nordic junior ski championships in 1968 . This made her the youngest medal winner to date. She was then nominated for the Canadian national team a year later. At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , she joined with the also the Gwich'in tribe belonging twin sisters Shirley and Sharon Firth in the season. They finished in tenth place, ahead of their long-term rival USA . In the individual race over 5 km she reached the 40th place.

In 1974 Allen ended her active career.

Allen died in June 2009 at the age of 55. The cause of death is unknown.
