The Rosenbrücke is a bridge over the Danube near Tulln in Lower Austria. It runs over the Danube at river kilometer 1965.51.
The Rosenbrücke is located west of the city of Tulln and serves as a north-west bypass of the city and to relieve the Tulln Danube bridge . Tullner Straße B19 leads over it . It is a cable-stayed bridge with a high A pylon .
Establishment
While the other newer Danube bridges in Lower Austria were built in the 1970s, this bridge was not completed until 1996. The design came from the office of the Viennese architect Alfred Pauser . It was first selected by a jury, but was also chosen as the winner in a vote carried out in the course of a public participation process.
The foundation stone was laid on June 8, 1992, and the end piece was concreted on August 25, 1995. It was opened to traffic on December 13, 1995.

The bridge has a total length of 440 m, of which 176 m is the main span. The superstructure width is 17 m. The pylon is 71 m high.
