The Rosenritz is 2938  m above sea level. M. high mountain ridge south above Zermatt .

The Rosenritz is part of a side ridge that branches off to the northwest 150 m below the Hohtängerrat . At the foot of the wall of the Hohtälligrate, the connecting ridge between Gornergrat and Hohtälli , at an altitude of around 3000 m, this side ridge is initially a broad ridge covered by a rock glacier . The highest point of the ridge is a round hump of 3006  m height. A detachable 4-seater chairlift coming from Breitboden will be built on this round hump in 2020 at the earliest. The Rosenritz is about 450 m long and begins at point 2938  m . In the middle it still has a height of 2899  m . Of theMountain hiking trail to Gornergrat overcomes the side ridge at the lower end of the Rosenritz at around 2800 m. In the southwest are the flat cirques Untere and Obere Kelle with several small lakes, to the northeast the Rosenritz falls with steep rock faces to another cirque, the Hohtälli . The Rosenritz can be climbed pathless from the lower and upper trowel.
