Rosita Yarza
Rosita Yarza (actually María Rosa Yarza Manrique , born November 5, 1922 in Madrid , † October 13, 1996 there ) was a Spanish actress .
Yarza began her career in the post-war years and enjoyed popularity in theater and cinema alike. She often played alongside her husband José María Seoane under important directors such as Cayetano Luca de Tena , Luis Escobar Kirkpatrick and José Luis Alonso at the Teatro Español de Madrid . In addition to classics by Shakespeare , Cervantes and Lope de Vega, they also performed contemporary plays by José López Rubio and Edgar Neville . Yarza's interpretation as "Doña Inés" was particularly praised alongside Seoane in the title role of " Don Juan Tenorio ".
In the cinema she starred in 27 films; among them was the parodic trilogy of 1944 and 1945 by director Ramón Barreiro and a number of melodramas such as Malvaloca , Mariona Rebull , El hombre que se quiso matar or A mí no me mire usted . She last played in the cinema in 1969; ten years later she also retired from theater work.
