Roswitha Wildgans

Roswitha Wildgans (* 1963 in Regensburg ) is a German crime writer.

Life

Roswitha Wildgans was born as the daughter of the church music composer Wolfram Menschick . She studied singing at the Munich University of Music . She then worked as a concert singer and as a member of various choirs. She also worked as a singing teacher. In 2006 her first crime novel was published under the title Finale Furioso , which is set in the milieu of church musicians in the Upper Bavarian district town of Freising . Four more thrillers followed. The main character of her novels is the gossiping landlady Maja Kuckuck. Her sixth thriller "Vino rosso" is set on Lake Garda with a new protagonist. Since 2013 she has also been working as an alto soloist again.

She lives with her husband and their daughter in Wippenhausen near Freising.
