The Spielvereinigung Rot-Weiß Speyer 1921 eV is a German football club based in the Rhineland-Palatinate city of Speyer .
history
Established until the post-war period
The association was founded in 1921. For the 1950/51 season , the club rose to the then second-class Landesliga Vorderpfalz . With 31:25 points, they were able to position themselves in fifth place right at the end of the season. At the end of the following season , the league was then dissolved, with 16:36 points Speyer placed 13th in the table, which means that the next season went into the 2nd amateur league .
Current time
In the 2004/05 season the club played in the 1st district class Speyer and took third place with 53 points. With 69 points, they placed second at the end of the 2008/09 season and thus rose to the Rhein-Mittelhaardt district league . At the end of the 2011/12 season, the club landed in second place with 65 points, which meant that they could take part in the promotion games to the district class of the Vorderpfalz district . There they then lost both games against 1. FC Hambach and did not get promoted. For the 2013/14 season, the district league became the B-class. With 17 points, the club then rose from this at the end of the 2017/18 season to 15th place in the C-class. The club still plays in this league to this day.
