Rotaria rotatoria is a species of the genus Rotaria from the tribe of rotifers (Rotatoria).
description
The animals are 230–1100 µm in size, have a smooth cuticle and a whitish, opaque body. The trunk gradually merges into the foot.
distribution
The species can often be found in all types of accumulations of water and in the activated sludge of sewage treatment plants .
