Rotaria tardigrada is a species of the genus Rotaria from the tribe of rotifers .
description
The animals reach a size of 360–700 µm and have a wide trunk. Head and foot are colorless, the trunk cuticula is dark brown, strongly folded, sticky and therefore encrusted with detritus .

The species is mainly found in moors and ponds .
