The Rote Volta or Nazinon is a river in western Africa and one of the headwaters of the Volta .

The Red Volta or Nazinon also has its origin in Burkina Faso near Ouagadougou and flows south to Ghana, where it joins the White Volta after about 320 km from the right .

Hydrometry

The flow rate of the Red Volta was measured over 16 years (1958–1974) in Nangodi about 45 kilometers upstream from the mouth (in m³ / s).
