Rotger from Ramsberg

Rotger von Ramsberg (* in the 14th century; † in the 14th century) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and canon in Osnabrück and Münster .

Life

Rotger von Ramsberg came from the family of the Lords of Ramsberg ( knighthood ) and was the son of the knight Gerhard von Ramsberg. There is no information about his mother. From 1337 to 1344 he was a canon in the collegiate monastery of St. Martini in Münster and until 1373 canon in Münster. At the instigation of the Count of Solms , whose son had been taught by Rotger, he received on October 11, 1345 a papal promise to a cathedral canon in Osnabrück. He was a subdeacon and owned the archdeaconate in Lünen. His brother Lubbert was canon and official in Münster.
