The Rothsee is a reservoir near Zusmarshausen in the Bavarian district of Augsburg in Germany .
It was created from the damming of the Roth by 2.5 m and is used for local recreation. The lake is located 20 km west of Augsburg on the federal highway 10 , about one kilometer south of the federal autobahn 8 - Zusmarshausen exit and east of the Zusmarshausen market.
