Roxana Scarlat
Roxana Mariana Scarlat (born January 3, 1975 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian fencer and Olympic participant.

In her discipline, the foil , she won the silver medal in the team competition at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta with Laura Badea and Reka Szabo , in the final the three Romanians lost to Italy. At the 1997 and 1998 World Championships, the Romanians also lost to Italy in the final. At the 2001 World Cup , Scarlat won bronze in the individual, in 2002 she won bronze with the team and in 2003 she won bronze in the individual and team competitions. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , Scarlat was ninth in the individual. She won silver again when she lost to the team from South Korea in the final of the 2005 World Cup .
