Ruben Bench

Ruben Bench (born September 5, 1990 in Cologne ; actually Ruben Bensch ) is a German musician , pianist and actor from Cologne.

biography

Bench was born in Cologne in September 1990 . He is the son of a doctor , Reinhard Bensch. His mother died in 2005. He has an older brother, Roderick Bensch, and two half-sisters from his father's second marriage. In 2007, Bench sang for the first time professionally in a musical, where he played the leading male role. This is called Baby can wait and was performed for the first time in March 2007 in the Abtei-Gymnasium Brauweiler . Even before the premiere, the musical was advertised in regional and national newspapers and magazines. These include the Bild-Zeitung , Bravo , Bravo Girl and the Kölnische Rundschau .

Since his appearance in this musical he has already played in several bands, most recently (2009) he was a singer in the group The Backseats , before he decided to work as a solo musician in 2010 because he wanted to find his own musical path. Since his mother was very musical, he learned to play the piano at the age of five . He won the national music competition Jugend musiziert . He has completed several seminars at the University of Louisville .

He is currently working on his debut album, which will be released next year. At the moment he mainly gives concerts on a regional level. He has covered the songs Feeling Good by Michael Bublé and Let It Be by the Beatles .
