European Rowing Championships 2018 - Lightweight Single (women)

As part of the European Rowing Championships 2018 , the competition in the women's lightweight one on the regatta course Strathclyde Loch was held between August 2nd and 5th, 2018 . A total of ten starters took part and the competition consisted of two preliminary runs, a hope run and an A and B final.

Marie-Louise Dräger started for Germany and reached the final, in which she could not take part due to an illness. Anja Manoutschehri started for the Austrian team and took first place in the B final. The gold medal went to Alena Furman from Belarus, ahead of Laura Tarantola from France and Clara Guerra from Italy .

Prelims

The two preliminary runs were held on August 2, 2018. The two best placed in the preliminary heats qualified directly for the final, while the others had the opportunity to qualify for the final via the repechage.

Reunion

Although two hope runs were actually planned, only one hope run was carried out with all six starters. The two best of this run qualified for the final. The remaining starters row for the other places in the B final.
