Rudi Istenič
Rudi Istenič (born January 10, 1971 in Cologne ) is a Slovenian former national soccer player . In 1995 he came to the then Bundesliga promoted Fortuna Düsseldorf , with whom he was relegated from the Bundesliga in 1997 and from the second Bundesliga two years later, after which he moved to the league competitor KFC Uerdingen 05 .
In 2001 he moved on to Eintracht Braunschweig , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga, but was not used in the following season. Further stations were KSV Hessen Kassel , KSV Baunatal and Materborn before he ended his career in 2006.
In 2000 he was also in the squad of the Slovenian national team at the European Football Championship 2000 , but was not used there.
