Rudolf Amann (politician)

Rudolf Amann (born February 9, 1902 in Vaduz ; † April 20, 1960 ) was a Liechtenstein landlord and politician ( VU ).

biography

Rudolf Amann was one of the seven children of Franz Amann and his wife Elisa (née Burtscher) and grew up with a brother and five sisters, including the later dialect poet Ida Ospelt-Amann . In 1930 he married Marie Kessler. The marriage had four children. Amann was a citizen of the municipality of Vaduz and worked as a farmer. From 1945 he became the landlord in the Linde restaurant .

From 1930 to 1937 Amann was a member of the administrative board of the Lawena State Works . From 1937 to 1947 he was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Furthermore, he was a member of the Vaduz municipal council from 1933 to 1942 and was a deputy member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the Patriotic Union from 1939 to 1945 .
