Rudolf Fertl

Rudolf Fertl (born July 7, 1928 in Mauer near Amstetten ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and social security employee. Fertl was a member of the National Council from 1978 to 1990 .

Life

After primary school, Fertl first attended a secondary school and after graduating from high school, studied at the University of Vienna . After his studies he worked as a social security employee and represented the SPÖ between 1965 and 1971 in the municipal council of Mauer. Between 1970 and 1971 he was mayor of the municipality, after which he served as a councilor from 1972 to 1985. Fertl was also a member of the National Council from February 28, 1978 to November 4, 1990.
