Rudolf Franz Lehnert
Rudolf Franz Lehnert (born July 13, 1878 in Groß Aupa , Bohemia , † January 16, 1948 in Redeyef , Tunisia ) was a photographer and lover of the Orient.
Together with his business partner Ernst Heinrich Landrock (born August 4, 1878, Reinsdorf, Saxony; † April 30, 1966, Kreuzlingen, Switzerland) he sold postcards and photographs with oriental motifs under the name "Lehnert & Landrock". The company's headquarters were in Tunis and Cairo, among others.
His motifs became particularly well known in the course of the European enthusiasm for the Orient at the beginning of the 20th century.
