Velká Úpa (German Groß Aupa ) is a district of Pec pod Sněžkou in the Eastern Giant Mountains in the Czech Republic . It is located on the river Upa between the mountains Pěnkavčí vrch ( Finke dome , 1105  m nm ) and Vlašský vrch ( tympanic dome , 1035  m nm ) east of the Snow Mountain (Sněžka).

In 1991 the place had 270 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 113 houses, in which 302 people lived.
