Rudolf Franzmann

Rudolf Franzmann (born December 19, 1946 in Heidelberg ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1966, Franzmann studied at an educational university. From 1971 to 1984 he worked as a teacher, in 1996 he became managing director of an environmental plant company.

politics

Franzmann joined the SPD in 1970. Until 1981 he was chairman of the Jusos of the Donnersbergkreis and then until 1990 SPD district chairman. From 1974 to 1996 he was a member of the district council . In 1984 he succeeded Willi Rothley as a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament, to which he belonged for almost five legislative terms until 2006. There he represented constituency 39 (Donnersberg) and was deputy chairman of the committee for European affairs.
