Rudolf Gugel (born February 14, 1908 in Nuremberg , † January 20, 1945 in Balz , Landsberg an der Warthe district ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending the Realgymnasium and the municipal higher commercial school in Nuremberg, Rudolf Gugel went through commercial training. From 1927 to 1932 he worked as a commercial clerk.

In April 1928 Gugel took over duties as Gaufführer of the Hitler Youth (HJ). His official entry into the NSDAP took place on May 1, 1928 ( membership number 87.373). On January 1, 1933, Gugel was appointed area leader of the HJ in Franconia and in April 1937 as senior district leader. Since August 1933 he also served as councilor of the city of Nuremberg.

From March 29, 1936 to January 1945, Gugel was also a member of the German Reichstag for constituency 26 (Franconia) . During the Second World War he did military service.

Gugel was killed on January 20, 1945 during defensive battles against the Red Army in the Oder region (Landsberg / Frankfurt) as a result of fighting or suicide.
