Rudolf Hausmann (politician)

Rudolf Hausmann (born March 16, 1954 in Blaubeuren ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Blaubeuren in 1974, Rudolf Hausmann studied at the Reutlingen University of Education and then worked as an educator until 1985. He also studied special education in Reutlingen and the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and graduated in 1986 as a qualified pedagogue . After he was deputy home manager from 1985 to 1987, he switched to the trade union ÖTV , for which he worked full-time until 2000. He completed his studies at the FernUniversität in Hagen in 2005 as a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Since 2006 he has been running the consulting firm Prisma-Network. From 2011 to 2016 he was Head of Department 11 (Transport) in ver.di Baden-Württemberg. Hausmann is married and has one child.

Hausmann has been a member of the Reutlingen district council since 1995 . From 1999 to 2002 he was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there. From 2000 to 2007 he led the SPD district association and from 2001 to 2004 he was general secretary of the SPD Baden-Württemberg. From 1996 to 2011 he was a deputy of the Parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg , in the home via a second mandate the constituency 60 (Reutlingen) represented.
