Rudolf Holstein

Rudolf Holstein (born January 24, 1900 in Langenbach near Bruchertseifen ; † January 28, 1973 ) was a Center Party politician .

Holstein attended business school after elementary school and was employed in mining . He later worked as a workers 'secretary for the Catholic workers' associations.

He was a member of the Center Party from 1917 to 1933 and after 1945. Between 1926 and 1933 Holstein was a member of a district executive. He was also a city councilor.

After the Second World War , Holstein was mayor of Beuel for the first time in 1946 . He took this position again between 1951 and 1954.

In 1946 Holstein was a member of the Provincial Council for North Rhine. He was also a member of the appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1946 and 1947 . He was then a member of the elected state parliament until 1954.
