Rudolf II († 1302 ) was Count of Montfort-Feldkirch and founded the Feldkirch line of the Count Palatine of Tübingen , which died out in 1390.

Rudolf was the son of Hugo II von Montfort and Elisabeth von Burgau, a daughter of Margrave Heinrich von Burgau . Before 1263 Rudolf married Agnes, the daughter of the powerful Count Hartmann II. Von Grüningen , and had to promise his father-in-law in September 1265 " never to worry him in half of his estates in the Alpgau , nor to give Heinrich von Schmalegg as a gift without his Consent to have something to do with ”.

The line from Montfort-Feldkirch was of great importance for the history of Vorarlberg . With the town and rule of Feldkirch , Rudolf II had brought the best share in himself. After the early death of his heir Hugo IV († 1310), his spiritual brothers, Rudolf III. († 1334) and Ulrich II. († 1350), the government.

Truchsess Eberhard von Waldburg († 1291) had married Rudolf's daughter Elisabeth before 1275.
