Rudolf Jussel

Rudolf Jussel (born April 10, 1959 in Schlins ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and interior decorator. Jussel was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament from 2009 to 2014 .

Rudolf Jussel was born on April 10, 1959 in the Vorarlberg Walgaugemeinde Schlins as the son of Ernst and Gertrud Jussel and grew up there. He attended elementary school in Schlins and secondary school in the neighboring community of Nenzing . Finally, from 1974 to 1977, Jussel completed an interior decorating apprenticeship in his parents' company , which he completed in 1977 with the journeyman's examination. From 1977 to 1984 Rudolf Jussel worked as a journeyman in his parents' interior decorator company, before opening his own company as an independent interior decorator in 1984 when he passed his master craftsman's examination .

Political career

In 1996 Rudolf Jussel became a member of the Freedom Party of Austria . In 2005 he took over a political office for the first time when he ran for the local council election for the FPÖ in Schlins and was elected as a substitute member of the local council. In the subsequent municipal council election in 2010 , Jussel was elected a member of the Schlins municipal council. Since 2015, he has also been a member of the community council of the community of Schlins. Within the party, he has also been the local party chairman of the FPÖ Schlins since November 2009.

In the state elections in Vorarlberg in 2009 , Rudolf Jussel ran for the first time for the Vorarlberg state parliament on the list of Vorarlberger Freiheits in the Feldkirch electoral district . Jussel was able to obtain a mandate in the Feldkirch constituency and was sworn in as a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament on October 14, 2009. Rudolf Jussel was the area spokesman for housing, the environment, forestry, water and disaster control for the FPÖ parliamentary group in the 29th legislative period . He was a member of the energy policy and agricultural committees as well as the state parliament's environmental committee.

After the state elections in Vorarlberg in 2014 , Jussel left the state parliament.

Private life

Jussel works as a freelance interior decorator. He has been married since 1988, has two children and lives in Schlins .
