Rudolf Meyer (born March 8, 1953 in Winsen (Luhe) ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

After 1969, he reached the average maturity was Meyer 1971 agricultural assistant, in 1972 a certified economist and 1975 agriculturalist . He was a practicing farmer with a focus on arable and vegetable growing as well as forestry. He was also President of Rural Adult Education in Lower Saxony e. V., member of the Lower Saxon country people and the inner board of the rural people district association Harburg e. V. as well as head of the real community Luhdorf.

In 1988 Meyer joined the CDU. From 1992 to 1994 he was deputy chairman of the local association Winsen, in 1993 he became deputy chairman of the CDU district association Harburg / Land. In the 1994 federal election , Meyer won the direct mandate in the Harburg constituency and sat in the German Bundestag for one electoral term .
