After the Second World War , he joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the Oberliga Süd in 1946 . Before the start of the championship, he won the Greater Hessian Cup with the club on September 22 of that year with a 3-2 final win over local rivals Rot-Weiss Frankfurt , with two goals - Georg Muth scored the third goal - he was one of the decisive ones Actors. At the beginning of the Oberliga Süd season in 1946/47 , coach Emil Melcher only used him sporadically, and he made three league appearances for the SGE. He later moved to local rivals Rot-Weiss Frankfurt, for whom he played 23 first division games after being promoted to the league in the summer of 1947.
In 1948 Motsch returned to Spvgg. 03 Neu-Isenburg. With the club, which was now in the fourth class, he was promoted to the 1st amateur league in Hesse in 1953 , where he was still active for a year. A wave of flu in the fall of 1957 led to his comeback for the club, which was now in the II Division . In the second division, however, he was mainly used in the reserve team before he finally ended his career.
Nothing is known about Motsch's further life.
