Rudolf Poller
Ernst Rudolf Poller (born May 11, 1865 in Johanngeorgenstadt ; † January 4, 1930 there ) was a Saxon mining director and mining engineer.
He was the son of the shift foreman and mine director Hermann Gustav Poller, who, as the authorized representative of Hermann Dietrich Lindheim, managed numerous zinc blende mines in the Upper Ore Mountains. After his training at the Bergakademie Freiberg , which he graduated as a qualified mining engineer in 1892, he returned to Johanngeorgenstadt. Here he was the manager of the Johanngeorgenstädter mines in place of his father as a mountain manager and manager of the cash register business at the Revierknappschaftskrankenkasse. In 1899 he moved to the district committee of Johanngeorgenstadt as a substitute . In the Scheibenberg district he took over its management. Since 1904 he was the operations director and mine director of United Field in Fastenberg . He donated a new bell for the town hall there.
As a mining entrepreneur, he was, among other things, the representative of the operating union of Briccius Stolln am Pöhlberg , located in the Marienberg mining district .
