Rudolf Sievers (politician)
Rudolf Sievers (born February 14, 1841 in Hoopte ; † May 13, 1921 in Winsen ) was a businessman and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Sievers received private lessons, attended the upscale private school in Winsen and the high school in Lüneburg . He was a businessman in Winsen, a member of the Winsen district committee and since 1880 a member of the Lüneburg Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Kreissparkasse and the Vaterländischer Frauenverein zu Winsen, a member of the board of trustees of the Lüneburg Agricultural School and other longstanding voluntary work for agricultural associations and cooperatives.
From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 16 ( Lüneburg , Soltau ), Winsen (Luhe) and the National Liberal Party .
