Rudolf Volkmann

Rudolf Volkmann (born September 12, 1897 in Latferde ; † May 15, 1975 ) was a German communist politician.

Volksmann was an inland skipper by profession. Since 1919 he was a member of the KPD. For this party he was a member of the city council of Minden between 1925 and 1931 and of the district council of the Minden district . After the start of the Nazi era , Volkmann was imprisoned between February and December 1933. In 1945 he worked temporarily as a pilot and from 1946 onwards he was the trade union secretary of the ÖTV .

Since 1946 Volkmann was again a member of the city council and district council in Minden. In the same year he was a member of the Provincial Council of Westphalia and a member of the appointed state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . In the second electoral term of the elected state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , he moved in as a successor on February 23, 1953, but left on March 3, 1953.
