Rudolph Sophus Bergh
Rudolph Sophus Bergh (born September 22, 1859 in Copenhagen , † December 7, 1924 in Davos ) was a Danish composer.
The student of Heinrich von Herzogenberg and Heinrich van Eyken spent most of his life in Germany. Until 1919 he lived in Berlin and Godesberg . After his return to Copenhagen in 1922 he became a board member of the board of directors of the conservatory .
Bergh composed a Requiem for Werther for choir, alto solo and orchestra, Geister der Windstille for choir, alto and tenor solo and orchestra, a tragic symphony , a string quartet, a violin sonata, choral works and numerous songs.
