Rudoltovice
Rudoltovice (German Rudelzau ) is an abandoned village on the Libavá military training area in the Okres Olomouc in the Czech Republic .
history
Rudelzau was founded in 1394. Until 1918 the Czech name of the place was Rudoltice . In 1758 2/3 of the village and the wooden church at that time were destroyed by fire. 1758-1760 a new church was built in the baroque style. It had 996 inhabitants in 1920; In 1939 there were 1069. From 1939 to 1945 the agricultural town belonged to the district of Bärn .
Most of the inhabitants were expelled in 1946 and the place was destroyed as part of the construction of the Libavá military training area. The area of the place is in the restricted area. Since 2000, a memorial stone outside the old town center has been a reminder of the place.
