Rudoltovice (German Rudelzau ) is an abandoned village on the Libavá military training area in the Okres Olomouc in the Czech Republic .

history

Rudelzau was founded in 1394. Until 1918 the Czech name of the place was Rudoltice . In 1758 2/3 of the village and the wooden church at that time were destroyed by fire. 1758-1760 a new church was built in the baroque style. It had 996 inhabitants in 1920; In 1939 there were 1069. From 1939 to 1945 the agricultural town belonged to the district of Bärn .

Most of the inhabitants were expelled in 1946 and the place was destroyed as part of the construction of the Libavá military training area. The area of ​​the place is in the restricted area. Since 2000, a memorial stone outside the old town center has been a reminder of the place.
