The Rugby Premier League (in long form MTC Rugby Premier League ) is the top division in rugby union in Namibia . The championship is organized by the Namibia Rugby Union . It is a semi-professional league. Name sponsor is MTC , the country's largest cellular provider.
League mode
Eight teams compete against each other in a round trip. The best four teams qualify for the semi-finals, the winners of which play for the Namibian championship in a final in Windhoek.
The World Cup system applies .
