The Ruhrlandhalle was a congress and multi-purpose hall built in 1964 in Bochum in concrete construction with a flat roof. The structural planning was carried out by Horst Möhr and Friedrich Banz, the client was the city of Bochum.

The Ruhr Olympiad was held as the opening event in 1964 . The Ruhrlandhalle served as a venue for a large number of events, such as concerts and company meetings. Various TV shows from ARD and ZDF, such as Flitterabend , Let's go , Understand fun and The Golden Shot were guests in the Ruhrlandhalle.

It was demolished in 2001 and replaced by the more modern RuhrCongress building in 2003 .
