Rumpa (Norwegian for hull ) is an island off the Prince Harald Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It is located 8 km northwest of the Hovdeneset headland in the eastern part of the Lützow-Holm Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
