Wenceslas rune

Rune Wenzel (born January 4, 1901 , † July 29, 1977 ) was a Swedish football player .

career

Wenzel came to GAIS Göteborg in 1917 . The midfielder played for the club in the Allsvenskan from 1924 . In the first three seasons he did not miss a game. In total, he played 160 first division games and scored 33 goals. In 1932 he ended his career.

Wenzel played 30 times for the Swedish national team between 1919 and 1930 . He holds the club's internal record with the most appointments.
