Rupert Marko (born November 24, 1963 in Wagna ) is a former Austrian football player and current coach .

Marko played for SV Retznei, BJLZ Graz, SK Sturm Graz , FC Tirol , SV Austria Salzburg , FK Austria Wien , FC Gossau and SV Flavia Solva .

On February 5, 1988 Rupert Marko debut against Switzerland in the national team . In the 4-0 win on May 17, 1988 against Hungary in Budapest's Népstadion , he scored three goals. He came to a total of three games in the national team.

After the end of his active career, Marko worked on his coaching career. He was initially employed as a youth and assistant coach for SK Sturm Graz for five years . Then he moved to ASK Kottingbrunn . From 2006 to October 2010 the Styrian trained the SV Horn ( Lower Austria ) fighting team .

From July 18, 2011, Marko took over the Austrian U-19 national team .

In addition to his career as a footballer, Marko completed his law studies and worked in a law firm.
