history

The mill was built by Joseph Müller in 1744/45. It was driven by the water of the Lohrgraben. After a fire caused by lightning in 1920, the mill building was not rebuilt. The farm existed until 1983, today the property is used as a residential building.

About 400 m northwest of the Ruppenmühle, at the fork in the road to the Gunkelschwaige, directly by the Ruppenschwaige, there is a path chapel, which was built in the 18th century and is a protected monument .
