Russell Jones (ice hockey player)
Russell Anderson Jones (born September 1, 1926 in Carlton , Victoria , † October 1, 2012 in Melbourne ) was an Australian ice hockey player .
Career
Russell Jones participated for the Australian national team in the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley . With his team he finished ninth and thus last place. He himself was used in all six games during the tournament and scored two goals and three assists. He also competed for Australia at the 1962 B World Cup . At club level, he played for the Pirates Ice Hockey Club in Melbourne.
